Capture back of ”MyKad”.

Review your old IC no. (if applicable). Tap “Yes” to continue.

Tap to submit MyKad photos.

Tap on “Got it” to proceed with facial recognition.

Ensure that your face can be clearly seen on the screen. Hold your phone straight, and follow the on-screen instructions for facial recognition.

Step 1
Your debit card will be auto-filled from your MyKad, which you may edit. Key in your mother’s maiden name and tap checkboxes for preferred settings.
Step 2
Select “Purpose(s) of account” & “source(s) of funds” and Tap “Next”.
Step 3
Select “Tax residency” country. Tap “Next”.
Step 4
Select your preferred UOB branch. Key in UOB Staff ID/ Campaign Code/ Promo code if applicable. Tap “Next”.
Step 5
Create username and password for your online banking account. Tap “Next”.
Step 6
Create username and password for your online banking account. Tap “Next”.
Step 7
Review declaration. Tap on checkbox to agree and tap “Next”.
Step 8
Review your details. Tap on “Pen” icon to edit if needed. Tap ”Confirm” to submit tour application.
Step 9
Application submitted. Tap on “Back to Home” to exit.
Step 10
After receiving a notification on your application, perform a fund transfer using DuitNow to activate your UOB account. Tap "Select bank” to continue.
Step 11
Once you have completed the fund transfer, you will receive a push notification that your account has been activated.
